Sunday 4th May 2014 – Easter 3A (2)

Please don’t say the word journey,

please don’t say the word journey,

everyone uses it today

to describe their so-called transforming experiences.

But as people of the Risen Lord,

we rise to discover

that Christ invites us to walk with Him,

to make a journey.

Along the road,

He listens to our weeping

and our cries for hope.

He untangles us from the grasp of grief

that weighs us down.

We find that we are precious to Him,

and at the end of the walk

He feed us.

In acknowledging His goodness and care of us

may we praise the Lord.
