Praise the Lord.

 

Let our souls praise the Lord.

For we place our trust

in the One who makes the heavens and the earth;

in the one who continually creates.

In His faithfulness

he looks to the oppressed and the hungry,

lifting up those who are weighed down

with His righteousness.

 

Praise the Lord

for His sustaining presence

in every aspect of our lives.

God all of life,

In our easiness

You seek to make us uneasy

and in unusual experiences

draw us into the undiscovered territory of faith.

In our discomfort

may your Love surpass

our hopes and expectations

ann allow others to meet Christ

in our responses.
